Assemblage Red Wine

2004 Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon

The Concannon Assemblage Red Wine showcases a vibrant red hue that invites you to explore its depths. Hailing from the beautiful Central Coast, this 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon presents a medium-bodied profile that balances richness with approachability. It offers lively acidity, making each sip refreshing and invigorating. The fruit intensity is pronounced, with delicious notes of dark fruits like blackberry and plum weaving through subtle hints of chocolate and spice. Tannins are notable yet refined, adding structure without overshadowing the wine's fruit-forward character. This wine is beautifully dry, allowing its complex flavors to shine through, making it a delightful choice for both casual gatherings and more formal occasions.

Central Coast

California's Central Coast might be a bit quieter than Napa or Sonoma to the north, but this lesser-known region produces many world-class wines. Enjoying incredible terroir along its vast 280-mile stretch—from San Francisco Bay to Santa Barbara—Central Coast wines are increasingly in demand. Its position between the Pacific Coast Ranges and the Southern Coast Ranges is key to its quality, with many cool-climate AVAs offering elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. In the hotter parts of the Central Coast, away from the coastal fogs and cold mountain slopes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre are exceptional.
